General Description

The FCNCS-1EN-1ES is a Fast Ethernet media converter that can convert Fast Ethernet 10/100Base-TX signal to 100Base-FX signal and the other way round. This converter comes with an SFP slot which can support any 155Mbps small form factor transceiver (SFP) that complies with the Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) standard. The transmission distance of the data signals will be extended depending on the type of 155Mbps SFP transceiver selected. The FCNCS-1EN-1ES Fast Ethernet media converter also comes with the Link Fault Pass-through (LFP) function which allows network links to be monitored for broken links.
