General Description
Improved design with (Link-fault-pass-through) function
The FCNID-1GN-1GS is an industrial-grade Gigabit Ethernet media converter with 1 slot small form-factor pluggable (SFP) transceiver for the fiber interface and 1 RJ45 port for the Ethernet interface. It can support any 1.25Gbps SFP transceiver selected and extend the transmission distance of data signals based on the type of SFP transceiver chosen. Designed to be rugged to work in a harsh industrial environment, the converter can operate in a wide temperature range from -40 degrees Celsius to 85 degrees Celsius. Now, the improved version of the converter has a dip switch that provides the Link Fault Pass-through function where the network links can be monitored to ensure the stability of the network connection.
