Industrial Serial to Fiber Converter [RS-232, RS-485 or RS-422] 2 Duplex Fiber Port FCRID-100-2DT Series

General Description

The FCRID-100-2DT Series are Industrial Grade Serial to Fiber converters that come with two optical fiber ports that support the ST connector type interface. As the FCRID-100-2DT Series converters come with two optical fiber ports, network topologies such the star topology is supported. The FCRID-100-2DT Series converters can extend the transmitted distance of the asynchronous RS-232, RS-485 or RS-422 serial signals through the optical fibers. Both multimode and single-mode optical fibers are supported. If the single-mode optical fiber is selected, the transmission distance can be extended by 20km. On the other hand, if the multimode optical fiber is selected, the transmission distance can be extended by up to 2km. The FCRID-100-2DT Series converters are designed to rugged and therefore suitable to be deployed in harsh environments with their higher operating temperature range.
